Rory Fedorochko is a Junior Program Manager on AidData's Chinese Development Finance Program team. He co-authored a recent AidData report, Harboring Global Ambitions, that examines China's global ports footprint and the implications for future naval bases. He assists the team's tracking of underreported financial flows by conducting data quality assurance, managing a team of research assistants, and contributing to data analysis. Rory is specifically focused on exploring financial flows from China to high-income countries.

B.A., History and International Relations, College of William & Mary

Prior to joining AidData, Rory graduated summa cum laude from William & Mary, was elected to Phi Beta Kappa, and was a recipient of the Cypher Award for graduating students. Rory worked for two years on AidData's Tracking Underreported Financial Flows (TUFF) team as a student Research Assistant, including as a Management Research Assistant. Rory also worked as a researcher at the Global Research Institute's NukeLab and as an e-intern with the U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command's "Importance of Ridiculous Ideas" program. He has studied abroad in Adelaide, Australia.
