Research Assistant Internship: Europe & Eurasia — Fall 2020

AidData is looking to hire research assistants this fall to work on a series of projects assessing various indications of foreign influence in Europe & Eurasia (E&E). Research Assistants will play a key role in compiling research on civil society, media, and other domains in ten former Soviet and Yugoslavian states. Research Assistants will learn novel research methods, utilize foreign language skills, and assist in various facets of data collection.

Students from all backgrounds and all schools are welcome to apply for the fall internship. Interest in Russia and the E&E region preferred. Proficiency in foreign language is a plus, especially in Russian or other European local languages. Starting pay is $8/hour; experienced RAs are eligible for pay increases up to $12/hour. Research Assistants are expected to work 8-10 hours per week throughout the fall semester. This internship will be remote.
