Full Description
This dataset includes all geocoded projects from the Government of Nepal’s Aid Information Management System (AIMS), which is called the Aid Management Platform (AMP). The AMP was first implemented in Nepal in 2009 through a partnership between the Ministry of Finance’s (MOF) International Economic Cooperation and Coordination Division (IECCD) and a technical provider, Development Gateway (DG). The geocoded data were collected through direct engagement by DG and AidData with the IECCD and the country offices of its development partners, which submitted the locational information for their projects. This dataset tracks 475 geocoded projects across 20952 locations, $5,941,663,576.00 in geocoded commitments and $3,221,565,559.00 in geocoded disbursements between 1997 and 2014.
