Uganda Government Projects

This is a sub-nationally georeferenced dataset of health, education and environment sector projects in Uganda’s Western Region that the Government of Uganda funded through its national budget in fiscal year 2015 (July 2014-June 2015). The dataset tracks 8,697 locations of 8,335 projects, which were identified and extracted from a website (http://budget.go.ug/) maintained by Uganda’s Ministry of Finance, Planning and Economic Development. The files projects.csv, locations.csv, and transactions.csv are structured so as to be combinable with other v1.0 geocoded dataset releases. All tables in the data folder can be joined by the project_id attribute. This dataset was created by AidData at the College of William and Mary and the USAID Global Development Lab through cooperative agreement AID-OAA-A-12-00096.
