Policy Analysis Unit Research Assistant — Spring 2022
AidData is looking to hire research assistants this Spring 2022 to work on data collection for a number of ongoing projects in the Policy Analysis Unit. Research Assistants will play a key role in conducting research on foreign influence, public diplomacy, and public perceptions in the context of Russia, China, and their spheres of influence. Research Assistants will have the opportunity to learn novel research methods, utilize foreign language skills, and assist in various facets of data collection.
Students from all backgrounds and all schools are encouraged to apply for the Spring 2022 internship. Interest in US relations with Russia and/or China is preferred. Proficiency in a foreign language is a plus, especially in Russian, other European local languages or Mandarin. Starting pay is $11/hour; experienced RAs are eligible for pay increases up to $14/hour. Research Assistants are expected to work 8-10 hours per week throughout the Spring semester.
