Helvetica Neue or Arial.  Only use one typeface for the entire working paper. This includes any embedded tables or figures. (Exception:  equations can be set in whatever font accommodates the symbols that you need to use.)

Font Size

11 pt for body text (paragraphs);  9 pt for footnotes.  Use your discretion for other text elements.

Text Color

Do not use colored text.

Paragraph Spacing and Alignment

Ensure whitespace of at least 1 line in between paragraphs.  Paragraphs should be left aligned rather than justified.  Default line spacing is fine.  (i.e. Do not double space paragraphs.)
