Research Assistant: Impact Evaluation

AidData is looking for one research assistant to assist in several research projects, including a dam evaluation in Ghana, a gender financing project, and emergency seed aid project evaluations. This position will have frequent check-ins, either remote or in person, depending on preferences. This position requires basic knowledge of QGIS and Stata. The student will work with the Research Scientist in AidData’s Research and Evaluation Unit.

The RA will work with the Senior Research Analyst in AidData’s Research and Evaluation Unit for 10-15 hours/week (negotiable) from September to December, or May for the right fit(start and end dates are flexible), paid at $11/hr.

Required Skills

  • Familiarity with geospatial data sources and formats in QGIS
  • Good Stata programming skills with the desire to learn
  • Good written skills
  • Self-starter and ability to work independently
  • Must be living in the United States

Preferred Skills

  • International development background
